Milan Myagdi
Improving nutrition changes lives Juna Pariyar is a mother who gives rs 1,000. He lives in Raghuganga Rural Municipality-2 of Myagdi district. She is survived by three children, a husband and a mother-in-law. Basanta Bahadur Pariyar and Juna Pariyar’s husband are currently in the Gulf countries for employment. Of her three children, two eldest sons are seven and five years old, and the youngest daughter is ten months old. All the livelihood of Juna’s Pariyar has been taken care of by her husband. Earlier, Pariyar’s family used to go to the health post for emergency and curative services or to get children vaccinated. At the same time, there was no interest in attending the gathering of health mothers. They thought that if food is eaten by diversifying, the body cannot digest and they have gastriti problems. Little did she know that the consumption of eggs was very beneficial from the point of view of health and nutrition for children who were six months old, so she used to feed her bark only twice a day by mixing lentils and potatoes.Change is possible over time. Earlier, mothers did not care much about the growth and development of the child and its effects. In the meantime, madhavi Pokharel, a community nutrition volunteer of suahara program, met him. Regular pregnancy check-ups during pregnancy, good family care during pregnancy, delivery at a health facility, post-delivery check-ups, proper and appropriate diet according to age, breastfeeding, vaccination of the child and regular monitoring of the growth of the child are the basis for the child’s health and strength. When Juna Pariyar was pregnant, she realized that the Suahara staff used to meet regularly and consult the above-mentioned behaviors because her 10-month-old daughter Suhana Pariyar is agile and clever. Juna Pariyar regularly goes to the health post to get her child and her own health care. She also attends regular health mothers’ group meetings. Where she has the opportunity to learn and share informative messages about her and children’s health and nutrition. She also shares her experiences of raising her daughter. She has played a good role in spreading awareness messages by participating in nutritious food exhibitions. Where she gives an orientation on how to make nutritious nets from locally available foods. Along with that performance, she also shares her experiences. Feeding eggs to children who are six months old helps in developing physical and mental growth, not gastric. I have a misconception that eating eggs makes the child gastric, eggs are a complete food, the child gets all the nutrients needed, so I feed eggs to my daughter every day. At the same time, she says that it is very beneficial to consume it in a period of 1000 days. She has now received good knowledge after attending the meeting of this health group. At the same time, she used to go to the health post with her two eldest sons to get vaccinated and take health care, but now everything has changed in the world, she takes her youngest daughter regularly for health care and also focuses on her further growth and development. She adds, “She now feels that the Suahara program has made a big difference in her life. She says, “I gave my daughter a full breastfed for six months. In the same way, she breastfed the baby after six months, along with various nutritious foods such as eggs and meat. She regularly takes her daughter to the health post and monitors her growth. Her son is now ten months old and weighs nine kg. The community nutrition volunteer of Milan Organization regularly checks my daughter’s nutritional status and helps her. She comes to my house and measures my daughter’s arm and tells me that she is now in the green (13.5 cm) and is in really good health. My daughter now looks much healthier and healthier than her sons. I now say i’m going to radio programs and YouTube. My husband Basant now likes my Facebook page and disseminates his information and at the same time asks about my daughter’s health and nutrition in every call. My families also support me to participate in health mom groups and growth monitoring. They have been very supportive and supportive for my daughter. They encourage me to eat a variety of nutritious foods for my daughter. I am very grateful for the suahara program. The Pariyar family is a good example for a thousand-giving mother and her family, who understands the opportunity and its importance and encourages them to change small daily behaviors and build a strong and smart family.presenter:Madhavi Pokharel Khatricommunity nutrition volunteerRaghuganga Rural Municipality-2, Rakhu Bhagwati
{"Written by":"admin","Est. reading time":"4 minutes
@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@type":"Article","@id":"https://milanmyagdi.org.np/index.php/2025/01/31/nutrition-reforms-have-changed-lives/#article
@id":"https://milanmyagdi.org.np/index.php/2025/01/31/nutrition-reforms-have-changed-lives/
admin","@id":"https://milanmyagdi.org.np/#/schema/person/bc618994728ba1e4ebcd254bcd9092c4
{"@id":"https://milanmyagdi.org.np/index.php/2025/01/31/nutrition-reforms-have-changed-lives/
{"@id":"https://milanmyagdi.org.np/#organization
@id":"https://milanmyagdi.org.np/index.php/2025/01/31/nutrition-reforms-have-changed-lives/#primaryimage
https://milanmyagdi.org.np/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/n3eiz9n9.png
Success Stories
en-US
@type":"CommentAction
Comment
https://milanmyagdi.org.np/index.php/2025/01/31/nutrition-reforms-have-changed-lives/#respond"]}]},{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://milanmyagdi.org.np/index.php/2025/01/31/nutrition-reforms-have-changed-lives/
https://milanmyagdi.org.np/index.php/2025/01/31/nutrition-reforms-have-changed-lives/
Nutrition reforms have changed lives -
